About www.taxfundedprejudice.com

Thank you for taking an interest in this site.

Aim of this site

This site aims to expose prejudice against men, fathers and boys in areas such as health, education, employment, relationship law, and the media environment.

Prejudice and gender-based corruption is often developed and supported by people in tax-funded positions. Prejudicial interpretation of existing laws and codes of conduct is a problem.

Many people in public positions make decisions based on fundamentalist Wimdria Law, rather than Australian laws and values. This creates and encourages an environment of prejudice and discrimination in the media, business, community and public policy.

Launch and status

Site launched for Fathers Day, Australia 2007.

At launch the site is not complete, and some material is repeated. The first priority is getting a working structure online. More content will be filled in over the next months. Apologies for any inconvenience.

Obviously, some statements aren't well supported by evidence initially, but that will change as we move forward. Watch this space. This is not a funded or commercial site, so it will always be a work in progress.

Why are you doing this?

These issues have been bubbling away for a long time - issues raised, representations made, reports written, complaints made, and the appropriate channels addressed.

However, because of structural prejudices in media and public agencies, the issues remain fobbed to the side.

But it's time for change. It's time for a different approach. Sunlight is the best disinfectant.

Is this a biassed site?

Yes it is. This site believes in the importance of individual freedom in a modern society. This includes genuine freedom of choice in religion, education, employment, sexuality, relationship, reproduction, association, opportunity and access to services.

However, we don't support groups who want to impose their prejudices, beliefs, or sense of rights onto others - "the freedom to swing your arms ends where someone else's nose begins".

Is there a forum?

At this stage I don't aim to have a forum - there are plenty of existing communities for people to make comment. See .. Links page.

I keep an eye on some of those sites and can pick up any interesting ideas from there.
